Help: Room View
The 'Room' view displays the current list of live participants on the left and a text based chat on the right:

Who's in the room?
The 'Paricipants' pane on the left shows you a list of who is currently in the room with you. If they are also in the room with audio then they will show with a speaker icon next to their name.
Chatting with Text
The right side of the room view contains the text chat feature. You can set the subject of the chat in the top box, and enter new chat messages in the bottom box. The chat history is displayed in the middle box.
Calling in with Audio
You can make an audio call into the room in two ways. To make a free VoIP call from your computer using a microphone and speakers or headset, click on the 'Call' button:

You should see a speaker icon appear next to your name in the 'Participants' pane to indicate that you are active with audio. If you have a camera then a video button will appear next to the 'Call' button. Clicking this will start sending your video in to the room and enable any other callers to view it on the 'Video' view. When you are finished with the audio call, you can hangup by clicking 'Hangup'.
If for some reason you would prefer to call in by telephone, you may do so by using one of the access numbers listed in the top right corner of the application:

Enter your 'Particpant Code' when asked on the telephone, and you will be connected to the room with audio and should see a speaker icon appear next to your name in the 'Participants' list.

You should check with your telephone operator for call charges associated with making this call. In the UK it is likely to be around 4p per minute when dialing the UK access number from BT.
Raising Your Hand
Often during a discussion it is useful to signal that you would like to speak, or to ask for a show of hands. You can raise your hand at any point by clicking on the 'Raise' button:

Your hand status will be shown alongside your name in the Participants pane on the left.
