ClackPoint Friend Connect gadget: Installation

For those who're familiar with installation of Friend Connect gadgets, add the ClackPoint Friend Connect gadget by URL. If you're unfamiliar with this process then follow the step-by-step instructions below.

  1. Sign-in to Friend Connect to manage your site, and select "Social Gadgets".

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Add-by-URL to go to the "Custom Gadget" page.

  3. Enter the URL for the ClackPoint Friend Connect gadget, http://files.clackpoint.com/plugins/friendconnect.xml.

  4. Set the desired gadget width and view options. We recommend no less than 450px.

  5. Finally, generate the necessary Friend Connect HTML and JavaScript to copy to your website to embed the gadget.
